How to Live a Happy and Satisfied Life

In each day that passes by, we stand by and witness how our lives are being lived without the full happiness and satisfaction we crave and need. Most people spend their time stressed out, worried and on a constant panic about what needs to be done for their futures, raising their children, wired up over work, school, along with everything else. Does this sound familiar?
Well if it does, it is because so many people live with this style and pattern. When you can start living that fully happy and satisfied life?

The only way you can live a happy and satisfied life, is when you start doing things that make you happy and satisfied. Sure, it sounds easy, and can be easy if you just remember to make yourself one of your top priorities. Too many people neglect themselves, feeling that it would be selfish if they took any time out to focus on their own being. While it is good to take care of others and other important things going on in your life, it is mandatory that you never forget about yourself. Discover who you really are and what matters most to you. Living a great life does not just happen. It requires, planning and following those plans to a life that reflects who you truly are.

Most people avoid planning goals and dreams in their lives because they may have a fear of committing to it or failing. They feel that by officially writing it down, they would actually have to go through with pursuing it. This is where you need to rate the importance of your life missions. What is most important to you? Is it losing a certain amount of weight? Getting your degree? Spending more time with your spouse or children? Whatever the reason or reasons may be, just write all of them down. You may feel that making a mental note of your goals and dreams is enough, but you could very well be setting yourself up for disappointment and failure. By writing it down, you will become a visual witness of those goals. Try writing them in an organizer, with a little reminder written in each day.

Setting deadlines for these goals would be a great way to assure they will be accomplished. Avoid disappointment by setting realistic deadlines. For example, if you wanted to lose 10 pounds, do not give yourself a week to do so. You will only torture yourself and become depressed when the week is over and see that you did not come even close to losing the 10 pounds. In fact, you may give up losing weight altogether because of the failure you experienced, simply because your deadline was unrealistic. Take some time everyday to look over your goals and remind yourself of how important they really are to you. Ask yourself why they are important to you too. Knowing that something is important is not enough. You must know the reasons behind the importance of the dreams and goals you have, so that your mind can see it more clearly and understand exactly why it is so necessary to go through with your missions.

Excuses are demons you must learn to fight off if you wish to start living a happy and satisfied life. Most people claim to have many dreams, but say they just do not have the time to approach them. Stop making excuses! You are the only one who holds the power to make a real difference in your life. Sure, we all have busy lives with our careers and families, but nothing takes up 24 hours of your day. So if something is truly important to you, you will be sure to make the time to work on it. You can do this by replacing it with something less important. For example, if you claim you do not have the time to work on the other important goals in your life, perhaps it is time for you to start making close observations on the way you spend your time. If you spend several hours of the day working, studying, and then several hours taking care of house chores and family, what else are you doing with the rest of your day? If you spend a good portion watching television, then you need to cut back on that and use that time to begin and follow an exercise plan you have been thinking to focus on for a long time (or whatever goal it is you have).

Making yourself one of your first priorities is not selfish. It actually is obligatory to do so in order to succeed in the other subjects of your life. Without a happy and satisfied you, there will be no happy and satisfied life, because you will be stressed out and unhappy. You might be consciously ignoring your needs and desires, but your subconscious mind has not forgotten about you and will constantly remind you through stress, anger, sadness, insecurity and feelings of failure.

Start listening to yourself and becoming the best friend and supporter you need. No one is going to work on your happiness for you, so find the power and motivation stored up inside you, and use it to direct yourself into the path of true happiness and satisfaction. You can do anything you set your mind to, and once you have stopped and gotten in touch with yourself, you will learn and realize just how wonderful and capable you really are, and how you always have been. You will not only realize these things, but also begin loving who are more and more, which will not only lead you to achieving the things that make you most happy, but will guide you into a world of many new dreams come true.

La Ilusión es.......NAVIDAD!!

¿Qué es la Navidad? Es la ternura del pasado, el valor del presente y la esperanza del futuro. Es el deseo más sincero de que cada taza se rebose con bendiciones ricas y eternas, y de que cada camino nos lleve a la paz

En esta Navidad que todos los hogares en todo el mundo estén llenos de bendiciones y lo más importante no es recibir el regalo que uno tanto espera sino al contrario dar lo que uno más aprecia y darlo con todo el corazón y ojala Jesús siga viviendo en nuestros corazones y nazca en más corazones para que día con día seamos un poco más sensibles a las cosas que pasan y que juntos contribuyamos a tener un mundo más humanizado.

Que hoy y siempre, reine la paz y felicidad dentro de todos los corazones de buen vivir, y para aquellos que aun no han encontrado la dicha y la felicidad, que sea este el momento para poder encontrarla dentro sus almas, y así podamos valorar el sacrificio que tuvo que realizar, el niño que en estas fechas dio a luz, e ilumino con ello las esperanzas de los hombres para que pudieran vivir tranquilos y orgullosos de existir…Que Dios los bendiga y tenga al pie de sus árboles, un obsequio para cada uno de ustedes... que les obsequie el éxito anhelado.

Christmas Inspiration

The story of life is lost in the infinity of eternity but there is something not far but very near and that something is your presence and my presence. And is not by chance that we are facing each other. Time will keep passing by and what is now a mountain, tomorrow will be a plain. And the plain will become river and the sea will become desert.

The mountain, in time, will be a plain again but this instant will stay, it is brief and transient like a cloud traveling the sky, like a drop of water diluting in the dry earth. And this fragile present which is like ice in front of the sun, will become stronger because there is something which will sustain it beyond everything since it sustains everything.

This is not the all itself but the Love by whom all things exist. And in this way things become real. But today is the moment of love and your heart and my heart are nothing but a stone compared to heaven and heaven is in front of the stone. Distance or separation are no important. Love is what is important.

Love is the capacity of acceptance not only because I can see you but because I can listen to you even within myself. I know that my words travel with the wind but their meaning will always be present in you.

To love is to love each other breaking frontiers, limits and even passions. And this is not passion; Love is as different as fire is from water. But in that difference there is less distance, each time, because of Love, who is the seed of eternal rebirth. Eternity has been born between you and me forever. All this is possible because God is Love.

Love and Madness

They say that many years ago met some feelings and some qualities of the man. When Boredom yawning for the third time Madness proposed:

- Let's play hide and seek.

The Intrigue rise and was missed, and the Curiosity without power in check, ask:
- To hide and seek? What was that like?

- "It's a game where I cover my face and start counting from one to one million, while you are hiding. When I finish counting, those who seek to find them, "It explained Madness.

Madness quickly began to count.

The Envy left behind Triumph, who by its own efforts had managed to climb the tree higher.

The Generosity is not nearly enough to hide cause’ each site appeared to be wonderful for some of its friends.

The crystalline lake for Beauty.

A blast of wind appeared to be magnified for Freedom.

At last, after first thinking at all, the Generosity hiding in a glimmer of sunshine. The Selfishness, however, found a very good site from the beginning. It was ventilated, comfortable, but only for it. The Lie hid behind the rainbow, and the Passion and Desire, between the volcanoes.

When Madness almost finished of count the Love still had not found a place to hide, because everything was busy. Until they finally saw a rosebush and decided to hide among their flowers.

- "A million!" said the Madness and began to search…

The first to appear was the Sloth who was just three steps.
A Passion and Desire, it felt the tremble of the volcano.
In an oversight found Envy, and of course also found the Triumph.
Selfishness did not have to be found because it left by itself of its hiding place that turned out to be a nest of wasps.

The Madness of both walking felt thirsty, and when it approaches the lake discovered the Beauty. Finding the Doubt was much easier cause’ it was sitting still unable to decide where they would hide.

Of this way Madness was finding all…

The Talent was among the fresh grass. The Anguish, in a dark cave. The Lie behind the rainbow, and even found the Oblivion, who had forgotten it was playing hide and seek.

But only Love did not appear anywhere.

Madness looking behind every tree, every stream under the earth, at the tops of the mountains, and when was about to give up, he saw the rosebush.

It took a small stick and began to move the branches. Suddenly it heard a painful cry. The thorns had hurt the eyes of Love.

The Madness didn’t know what to do to apologize. It cried, begged, implored, apologized and promised to accompany it forever.

El Amor y la Locura

Cuentan que hace muchísimos años se reunieron algunos sentimientos y algunas cualidades del hombre. Cuando el Aburrimiento bostezaba por tercera vez, la Locura propuso:

- Vamos a jugar a las escondidas.

La Intriga se levanto extrañada, y la Curiosidad, sin poder contenerse, pregunto:

- ¿A las escondidas? ¿Y eso como es?.

- “Es un juego en donde yo me tapo la cara y comienzo a contar, desde el uno hasta un millón, mientras ustedes se esconden. Cuando termine de contar, los buscare hasta que los encuentre”, explico la Locura.

El Entusiasmo bailo de contento y la Alegría dio saltos que termino de convencer a la Duda, e incluso a la Indiferencia, a la que nunca le interesaba nada.

Pero no todos quisieron participar. La Verdad prefirió no esconderse ¿Para que?, si al final siempre la hallaban.

La Soberbia pensó que era un juego muy tonto. En el fondo lo que le molestaba era que la idea no había salido de ella. Y la Cobardía prefirió no arriesgarse.

La Locura rápidamente comenzó a contar.

La primera en esconderse fue la Pereza, que como siempre, se dejo caer en la primera piedra que encontró.

La Envidia se fue detrás del Triunfo, quien por su propio esfuerzo había logrado subir a la copa del árbol más alto.

La Generosidad casi no alcanzaba a esconderse. Cada sitio le parecía maravilloso para alguno de sus amigos.

El lago cristalino para la Belleza.

La hendija de un árbol era perfecta para la Timidez.

Una ráfaga de viento le parecía magnifica para la Libertad.

Por fin después de pensar primero en todos, la Generosidad termino ocultándose en un rayito de sol. El Egoísmo, en cambio, encontró un sitio muy bueno desde el principio. Era ventilado, cómodo, pero solo para el. La Mentira se escondió detrás del arco iris. Y la Pasión y el Deseo, entre los volcanes.

Cuando la Locura ya casi terminaba de contar, el Amor aun no había encontrado un sitio para esconderse, pues todo estaba ocupado. Hasta que al fin vio un rosal y decidió esconderse entre sus flores.

- “¡Un millón!”, dijo la Locura. Y comenzó a buscar.

La primera en aparecer fue la Pereza que estaba a solo tres pasos.

A la Pasión y el Deseo, los sintió en el vibrar de los volcanes.

En un descuido encontró la Envidia. Y claro también encontró al Triunfo.

Al Egoísmo no tuvo ni que buscarlo, pues el solito salió de su escondite que resulto ser un nido de avispas.

La Locura de tanto caminar sintió sed, y al acercarse al lago descubrió a la Belleza.

Encontrar a la Duda fue mucho más fácil. La encontró sentada aun sin poder decidir a donde se iba a esconder.

Así fue encontrando a todos...

El Talento estaba entre la hierba fresca. La Angustia, en una oscura cueva. La Mentira, detrás del arco iris. Y hasta encontró al Olvido, que se había olvidado que estaba jugando a las escondidas.

Pero solo el Amor no aparecía por ningún lado.

La Locura busco detrás de cada árbol, bajo cada arroyo de la tierra, en las cimas de las montañas. Y cuando estaba por darse por vencida, vio el rosal.

Tomo un pequeño palo y comenzó a mover las ramas. De pronto escucho un doloroso grito. Las espinas habían herido los ojos del Amor.

La Locura no sabia que hacer para disculparse. Lloro, rogó, imploro, pidió perdón y hasta prometió acompañarlo siempre.

Desde entonces el Amor es ciego y la Locura siempre lo acompaña.
